ASSOCIATION OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY (AUSA)
Since 1950, AUSA has worked to support all aspects of national security while advancing the interest of America’s Army and the men and women who serve. AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America’s Army-Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, Government Civilians, Wounded Warriors, Veterans, and family members. These persons represent our Warrior Community. The Association provides numerous professional development opportunities at a variety of events, both local and national.
As the premier voice for America’s Soldiers, we are a dedicated team committed to building the best professional and representative association for the world’s best Army.
AUSA represents every American Soldier. The Fort Pitt Chapter will coordinate, conduct, assist, and implement programs that support the morale, welfare and readiness of the Warrior Community residing in the twenty-two counties of Western Pennsylvania. It will also serve as a resource for the communities, corporations, and other organizations to sustain the Warrior community by fostering support of the Army’s role in national security.
JOINING – WHY AND WHO
The Fort Pitt Chapter is your professional association. As a member of the Warrior Community you need to keep current on issues that affect the readiness of the US Army. AUSA is the only organization that offers educational material and events designed specifically to educate you about these issues. Membership is open to all Army components, civilians, retirees, Wounded Warriors, veterans, and concerned citizens and family members.
